Wrapping Up The Summer Of 22'

Updated: Oct 17, 2022

Autumn is upon us as we settle into September with sporting events across the UK & Europe starting to slow down. This summer will certainly to be one to remember, where we are proud to have made both debut’s and returns across sport’s major events globally. With some events welcoming back record-breaking crowds since the arrival of Covid, our team have enjoyed being part of sport’s return. I’m sure most of you are aware where we’ve been so far this summer – but what did we have going on during the late summer period?

Festival of Sport

Once our production & event teams finished our busy schedule travelling across Scotland, we headed to Holkham Park to support the Festival of Sport. The event focuses on encouraging kids to try out new sports and skills, to drive increased sports participation nationwide. Working with golfing legend Graeme Storm, we provided a golf zone where kids of all ages could have a go at our putting and chipping activations. It it always hugely satisfying for the team to create accessible opportunities for everyone across sport The power activations can have really is remarkable!

Cricket Simulators Across London

Capitalising on our partnership with BatFast, and with the Hundred and England cricket test matches well underway, we delivered our batting simulator experience across three iconic locations in London: Paddington Central, Regent’s Place & Broadgate. For two weeks, we supported British Land in providing workers with unique entertainment. With plenty of prizes up for grabs, it certainly was a productive day in the office for some! Bunker Redesign & The Bustle of Tennis Fans!

While our UK teams were busy in London, our US team did a fantastic job of redesigning our bunker activation for the Ally Challenge in Michigan. We also returned this year to the Winston-Salem Open, providing an engaging fan zone that included our popular speed of serve and one of our newer activation’s tennis shy. Fans couldn’t get enough of the fan zone, with many returning over the duration of the tournament to hone their skills!

BMW PGA Championship – US & Wentworth!

A BIG shoutout must go to our US & UK production and event teams for their recent efforts in delivering TWO astounding and exclusive fan experiences at the BMW Championship on the PGA Tour, and the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth last week. Fans could have a go at our MEGA long putt activation (30m!) and sharpen up their golf swing on our five bay driving range for the BMW tournament in Delaware.

A few weeks later, our schedule brought us to Wentworth for one of the DP World Tour flagship events of the year. This year was our busiest year, working with numerous clients to design incredible fan experiences. The event also marked a notable development in our service offering, delivering to remarkable scales whatever the event or location! Head over to our Instagram and Facebook pages to discover what we got up to last week.

We always preach how versatile and beneficial activations can be, whether it’s working with brands to create memorable marketing campaigns or supporting charities in their fundraising efforts. Over the summer, our fan zones and activations have been utilised in so many ways, whilst we work continuously to develop all our services.

We are very excited for what we have planned over the next month, and we cannot wait to share with you all what we have planned! We are always posting exclusive snippets on our social platforms, so make sure you follow us to be kept updated on our latest activations ventures!
