Activation: Fan Zone
Location: JCB Golf & Country Club, Staffordshire
The Brief:
Following the success of our Fan Zone at the event in 2022 at their debut on the Legends Tour, JCB entrusted again this year to develop and deliver an engaging and immersive fan experience. JCB have the ambition for the event to become recognised as an international event, which needed to be emphasised through the scale of the Fan Zone.
The Process:
The focus around the design of the Fan Zone was to incorporate the key JCB brand assets across all the activations to help bring to life the brand and vision. The objective was to make a lasting impression on fans attending the event through the exclusivity provided by the Fan Zone, to help develop the tournament over the coming years.
The Result:
JCB Fan Zone: We incorporated various golf activations that covered all the key skills needed for the game of golf! We also designed & built the entrance and information area using our sustainable structures.
Long Putt: Always a favourite with fans at any event, fans had three attempts to hole the 30m putt!
Chipping Challenge: 3 bay skeeball chipping challenge, where fans had 60 seconds to score as many points as possible.
Golf Simulator: Our two bay golf simulators gave the fans the opportunity to take part in our longest drive on the 2nd hole and nearest the pin challenge on the 17th hole.
Bunker Challenge: Fans had three attempt to hit the ball out of the pot bunker as close to the pin as possible.
Putting Course: Six hole mini golf course furnished with bespoke JCB obstacles for fans to have fun with.
Entrance & Information Area: Using our truss and arch structures, our team designed & built the entrance & exit for fans to filter through, which was fully branded. Our arch structure was used to house the information area for the event.
It was fantastic for the team to return to the event and deliver another hugely successful fan experience. Our build & production teams did a phenomenal job in producing a seamless looking Fan Zone including the branding and bespoke built activations. The event was a strong testimonial to the fact that we can work with specific design briefs, to produce a high quality and most importantly, thrilling fan experience!
