The Brief:
To show gratitude towards their workforce, Total Energies approached us with a mission to provide their staff with a fun and exciting Fan Zone as part of an employee rugby 7's event, that gave them the opportunity to engage with various rugby-based activations. They also wanted to use the Fan Zone to celebrate 100 years of Total Energies in style!
The Process:
Total Energies wanted us to provide a wide range of activations that allowed fans to utilise all the relevant skills used across the sport. Our team also focused on best placement of branding & logos throughout the Fan Zone, to represent Total Energies in the best possible way. We also made sure to include our most loved rugby activations, both physical and digital.
The Result:
Total Energies Fan Zone: An exclusive space for Total Energies employees to access and enjoy, we delivered various touchpoints that embraced rugby as a sport and reinforced Total Energies long standing involvement with rugby.
Welcome Entrance: Using our arch structure, fans were welcomed into the Fan Zone in stylish fashion!
Knock Em’ Down : Fans had 60 seconds to knock as many rugby balls as they could off the plinths.
Kicking Challenge: With numerous targets on the wall, fans had 60 seconds to score as many points as possible by kicking the ball through the targets.
Swan Dive: Fans had to dive into the foam pit replicating the classic try scoring pose! A great opportunity to capture the ultimate action shot.
Stage: Housed within our arch structure, we created an inclusive space for the stage and seating area for people to enjoy various entertainment available.
F&B Area: Utilising again our arch structures which housed F&B options, we created a comfortable and relaxing area for employees to take a break and grab a bite to eat or drink.
Photo Opportunity: An exclusive opportunity for employees to get a photo as a fun memory from the day! Photos were emailed to employees where they could share their experiences across all social media channels.
The team thoroughly enjoyed supporting Total Energies to deliver something a little different to what we usually do! The Fan Zone was very well received by the Total Energies workforce, with over 200 photos taken across the 2-day event. Another great rugby fan experience delivered under our belts, as 2024 is shaping up to be a big year of activations in the rugby world which we are excited to continue with into the year!
