Wasserman: Wells Fargo VIP Experience

Client: Wasserman & Wells Fargo Tournament Team

Event: Wells Fargo Championship 2024  

Activation: VIP Hospitality & Chipping Challenge, Long Putt & Putting Course  

Location: Quail Hollow Golf Club, North Carolina        

The Brief:

Following on from the huge success of our VIP Hospitality area last year, we were keen to replicate this success into 2024! As title sponsors of the one of the four elevated events on the 2024 PGA Tour schedule, Wells Fargo wanted to provide an exclusive and exciting experience for their clients! We focused on ensuring we delivered a premium space for Wells Fargo clients, and to also promote the brand and their financial services.

The Process:

It was essential that our design & production teams ensured we continued to deliver the key brand message and values of the Wells Fargo brand within the hospitality space. The design team looked at how we could emphaise the brand image throughout all touch points within the space, that provided a sense of exclusivity and value to clients of Wells Fargo.  

The Result:

Wells Fargo VIP Hospitality Experience: Positioned on the 10th fairway at Quail Hollow Golf Club, the VIP Hospitality Tent was a unique experience that was accessible to all Wells Fargo clients. The area was fitted out with various golf activations, which allowed space for F&B facilities and seating area for fans to relax and take some out from the live golfing action.

Three Bay Simulator Range: We had a putting simulator positioned in the centre of the bay, with a golf simulator either side, that allowed fans to fully immerse themselves in the Quail Hollow course!  

Chipping Challenge: Open to the public, we designed and built a three bay skeeball chipping challenge where fans had 60 seconds to score as many points as possible, using our bespoke built targets - certainly, a crowd pleaser!

Seating & Lounge Area: We upgraded the lounge area this year with golf themed chairs, TV wall for fans to watch the live golf from various points on the course, and even comfier sofas! The area was utilised throughout the week for Q&A sessions & presentations.

Long Putt: Located in another hospitality space within the wider Fan Village, we provided a 10m Long Putt Challenge which was fully branded on the interior & exterior. Always a fan favourite!

Putting Course: A great addition to any space, we delivered our bespoke Putting Course within the F&B area that was great entertainment for young families and kids.

It was a pleasure to continue our relationship with Wasserman & the tournament team into 2024, as we expanded our service offering into other areas whilst we went above & beyond with our VIP Hospitality area for Wells Fargo clients. We welcomed over 4,000 fans through our hospitality area & additional putting activations across the tournament site, as activation becomes an essential element to both the experience of the event and the PGA Tour through hospitality.
