Formula E Miami: PIF’s Driving Force Activation

The Brief:
Building on our previous collaboration with PIF at the E1 Series Miami GP 2025, the Public Investment Fund returned as a Principal Partner for the Formula E Miami E-Prix, seeking a high-quality trackside activation.
The objective was to create a fan-friendly space that could host PIF’s Driving Force educational workshops, engaging students, families, and visitors in future mobility, sustainability, and innovation initiatives.
The activation needed to deliver two key experiences:
A comfortable fan zone with shaded seating, allowing guests to relax and learn about PIF’s role in driving innovation in mobility.
An interactive workshop space for youth-focused, hands-on Driving Force sessions.
All branding, materials, and finishes had to meet PIF’s premium standards, while being durable, sustainable, and visually striking in a high-footfall trackside location.
The Process:
Provision Events managed the complete design to delivery process, creating a customised modular structure aligned with PIF’s Electric 360 identity.
Key features included:
A modular walling system with fully branded finishes
Custom structural elements and display features for workshop activities
11.5ft umbrellas for guest shade
5m branded flags for trackside visibility
Connected outdoor TVs that were synced to support Driving Force workshops with live content and educational video segments
From concept development and engineering through to build, installation and on-site management, every element was delivered to ensure a smooth and coordinated race-week operation.
The Result:
The PIF Driving Force activation delivered a polished, high-impact fan zone and educational workshop space at Formula E Miami.
Guests enjoyed a cool, comfortable environment to relax and learn about PIF’s work in future mobility and sustainability.
Young participants engaged in workshops, connecting with PIF’s Driving Force initiative.
The use of recycled materials, bold branding, and clean finishes reinforced PIF’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
The activation was received positively by PIF, Formula E stakeholders, and race-week visitors, setting a benchmark for future trackside activations.
