Following on from our success in 2021 of delivering a roadshow across numerous European Tour events on behalf of Callaway, we were entrusted again this year to do just that! Callaway’s objectives for 2022 were to continue their focus on database growth, whilst promoting the Callaway brand with a focus on the Callaway Rogue range of drivers and irons.
We wanted to help the Callaway brand stand out at events by utilising our eye-catching arch structure to house the experience. Alongside this, the use of our brilliant in-house design team in creating bespoke golf simulator gameplay incorporating Callaway branding and colours, was a powerful combination!
Take on a Pro Challenge: We designed, installed, and delivered our Callaway ‘Take on a Pro’ Challenge across five DP World Tour events: Scandinavian Mixed, BMW International Open, Genesis Scottish Open, BMW PGA Championship & Cazoo Open de France.
Fans could choose to take on the world’s leading male or female pros (all of which were Callaway brand ambassadors) in a longest drive and nearest the pin golf simulator challenges. If fans scored more points than their pro, they were given a coin to put into the gum ball machine where they were given the chance to win the golden ball. Golden ball winners were lucky enough to win a Callaway Rogue driver!
We welcomed 3,000 fans across all five events, with over 21,000 balls hit! Fans appreciated the fact Callaway had brought the experience to the event, where trying out the new clubs was communicated as the most popular feature of the activation. Over the years we have worked with Callaway to deliver various roadshows across Europe & the US that has involved multiple design elements and golf activations. The 2022 Callaway European Roadshow allowed us to showcase all areas of our full-service sport activation package, indicating the phenomenal experiences and scale we can deliver.
