Covid has proven itself to be one of the toughest obstacles that has ever faced our society, irrespective of the barriers it has presented for the Provision Events team within the industry. With the current landscape still volatile, it is important to focus on the positives that have emerged from the last 18 months rather than the negatives: which is exactly what we have done here at Provision Events.
With the events industry kicking back into motion once again, it is more important than ever to create unforgettable experiences that connects brands and sports fans worldwide, which is where Provision Events comes in! As a business, we are now back to a busy schedule of upcoming sports events and currently building back up our workforce to full capacity. Despite the consequences Covid has placed upon Provision, we are now in the strongest position we have ever been as a company. One of our founders Nick Clemens shares his insights into how we have navigated the Covid landscape that has shaped an optimistic future for Provision Events:
"There was no point in calling our clients for 12 months simply because they didn’t know if they had a job let alone an event to be staged! So, we posed the question to the team-how do we become more appealing to our clients and become this one stop shop that we always wanted to become?
This rarity we suddenly had of our work stopping so abruptly, we used this as an opportunity to really push and invest into our design studio which was a big influence on our survival through the Covid period! We also reached out and partnered up with some fantastic companies such as with BatFast and BeMatrix which allowed us to cater to any size event. We can now offer our own impressive structures and tents, alongside the branding as well.
When we first founded Provision Events in 2004, we always had in mind our working goal to achieve this ideal business model of being able to offer everything as a full-service sport activation agency. 17 years later here we are today!" Since the easing of restrictions, we have been activating at numerous live events including the Valero Texas Open, the Irish Open and the Cazoo Classic on behalf of our partners Callaway Golf, and the Atlanta and Winston-Salem Open. We are incredibly excited to be activating at the 2021 BMW Championships at Wentworth, where soon after we’ll be across the globe in the US for the Ryder Cup!
Our events schedule is already filling up moving into 2022, where we will be involved in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, as well as activating at the Players Championship in Florida.
The ability we have to offer EVERYTHING within our event package that incorporates all aspects of our business, is what makes us unique and ultimately specialists in sport activation. We offer competencies that revolutionises the way in which brands can engage with sports fans. The challenges Covid has presented to us has raised our perspectives of how valuable live experiences and interactions are. As a result, we place even more emphasis on what Provision delivers, putting the experiences of all sports fans at the pinnacle of our aspirations.
Covid has impacted Provision’s company culture for the better and has driven us to deliver some fantastic activations in the last few months, despite the instability of the environment we have battled against!
